There are a very few duly elected office holders in the United States who have publicly stated the opinion that we should suspend certain federal elections scheduled for November 2012. These statements are clearly in defiance of our Constitution (of 1787) and an abdication of the vows (or affirmations) which the office holders made when they began their tenure of office.

The only way any federal election can be suspended or eliminated is by an Amendment to the Constitution or a coup d'etat, and this proposal sounds treasonous to me. Any candidate running for office against any person who proposed treason should cite that disqualification in every speech.
